We exist to give Texas Tech students safe, serene and cozy accommodations. We host parents, guests and travelers visiting Lubbock for either work or pleasure in clean, tidy and well-maintained homes. Our objective is to create an unforgettable experience to every renter. We put in the hard work so that your stay with us is not just another place to lay your head, but a chance to enjoy the perfect trip as you create lifetime memories.
WHERE WE GOT THE NAME
Why the name 21 Raider Alley you may wonder? Let me unravel the mystery behind the name: We are located on 21st Street, ‘Raider’ well... of course Texas Tech and ‘Alley’- that’s my daughter, Allison’s, nickname. And so, became 21 Raider Alley!
Our Journey
21 Raider Alley was born out of passion for student comfort. We are located on the 2400 block of 21st Street, less than half a mile from Texas Tech University, serving students from 50 states and more than 100 countries.
My name is Beverly Davis. I live in Lubbock, Texas with my husband, Tony, and daughter, Allison. As a mother, I saw the need for comfortable and inviting student accommodations. Every parent’s greatest joy is knowing that their child feels at home, even while away.
I have always had passion for kids, having worked as a Lifeguard, Summer Camp Counselor, and Pre-School Assistant. For over 18 years and running, I have worked for the local ABC and CBS News Stations, just 3 miles from one of my greatest passions - 21 Raider Alley.
After seeing the need for student housing in 2004, I decided to invest in Texas Tech rental homes. This gave me an opportunity to work with kids while solving every parent’s problem: offering affordable, secure and comfortable accommodations for their children - all while building a great investment for my own daughter!
After buying my first rental on 21st Street, I quickly realized what a great block it was and continued purchasing homes on the block over the next several years. In 2017, I began my mission to provide a home away from home for people traveling to Lubbock for work, pleasure or to visit their children. I decided to turn a few of my homes into Vacation Rentals.

I love my TTU kids and my Vacation guests! Investing in Tech rentals has given me the opportunity to realize my two greatest aspirations:
Assist students from all walks of life by providing a home away from home.
Provide unique and memorable experiences for my guests.
Over the years my greatest satisfaction has been seeing students pass on the rentals to their younger siblings, family members or friends. And when I first turned two of my homes to Airbnbs, I became committed to providing travelers and visitors a space that met their needs and exceeded all expectations.
Within a few months I became an Airbnb Superhost, courtesy of guests who made recommendations after enjoying their extraordinary stay. I have maintained this status and strive to remain a Superhost by creating an unforgettable experience for my guests.
